I'm Tracey the girl behind Mountaintop Customs.
My sewing career began as a little girl when my mom signed me up for sewing lessons in the basement of a little old lady's house. Little did I know, my interest in sewing would flourish into a lifelong passion.
In 2015, I started a dog collar company which I still run today. This is what transitioned my sewing passion from “delicate” sewing into heavy duty sewing. I soon traded out my home sewing machine for an industrial machine, and never looked back.

In 2019 I began to work for a boat top maker with over 40 years of experience in the marine/automotive upholstery industry. Over the past 4 years I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry, and continue to expand my skillset everyday.

I pride myself on my quality craftsmanship. I’m known to be a little bit of a perfectionist, fairly picky, and my own worst critic, which is great for you (the customer)! As the saying goes “no shit leaves the shop”. You’ll never receive a product from me that I am not 100% happy with.
